MSD Fun Dive Price Increase

(kind of)

In an attempt to show our appreciation for their incredible ability and dedication, we have decided to give our dive master staff a raise (their first since ...well, forever). Therefore as of May 1st. 2013, we will be raising the (single) fun dive charge from $15 to $20. Just as important as our fantastic staff, are our loyal fun divers, so we will now be offering a fun dive punch card that will effectively bring the price back down to $15. The fun dive punch card will have ten dives on it for a value of $200 but will cost only $150. The card will only expire when consumed and can be nestled right next to your air fill card for safe-keeping.

Fun dives will still include:

  • One (somewhat wealthier) dive master / BBQ specialist topside to offer assistance and advise and another dive master underwater for guidance.
  • Van transportation from MSD Brainerd to the pits (limited space - first come, first served).
  • An after dive Bar-B-Que including cheesy hot dogs, hamburgers, chips, cookies and beverages.

New for April 2013

MSD Introduces

Lavacore

Not a skin.

Not a wetsuit.

Better.

MSD is pleased to announce that we are now dealers for Lavacore. This unique line of thermo protection products are designed to be used as stand alone or wetsuit under-garments. They provide a 2MM neoprene warmth equivalency but have little or no additional buoyancy. These products will work perfectly to take off the extra little chill that comes with late spring and early autumn diving. Because of their great wind-breaking characteristic, Lavacore products work equally well for topside water-sports such as kayaking, wakeboarding, and waterskiing.

We will initially be stocking the Elite zippered shirts and full-body suits in both men's and women's sizes along with Lavacore beanies.

For more information follow this link to the Lavacore website.

Remodel of new St. Cloud MSD facility nearly finished!

Except for some floor tile at the entrance and a new counter top, the showroom is finished. Classroom, offices, rental room and repair room are all set and in use. The pool construction has been delayed, but we hope to have that open by mid-summer.

New St. Cloud MSD facility now open!

MSD has recently purchased the former "Fred's Plumbing" building located right across the parking lot from our previously leased space in the Mike's Archery building. We are in the middle of a major remodel of the showroom/office/classroom areas (removal of three offices, new flooring, ceiling, lighting, and paint) and will be starting soon on construction of an indoor 40 by 28 foot pool.

As of right now, we have most of our functions (air fills, sales, rental etc.) up and running so feel free to stop on by (you may just need to step around paint cans and sheetrock mud). We will try to be available during normal business hours during this transitional phase, but it may be wise to call before you come over to better allow us to serve you.
